LEGEND OF ZELDA ORACLE OF SEASONS WALKTHROUGH

PART I: GNARLED ROOT DUNGEON
Go up and over right from where you start. Talk to the dancing girl (Din), then talk to everyone else, and then talk to Din again. You will dance with Din and then Onox will come take her away…you know the rest…you have to save Din. Now go to Horon Village, which is south. When you get there go east and out of the village. Go right and continue until you find the hero's dungeon. Beat it (it is e-a-s-y) and get the wooden sword! Now go back to Horon Village, and talk to the Maku Tree, which is in the west of the village. Now go to the ring shop to get the friendship ring. Now follow the Maku Tree's instructions and use the key the Maku Tree gave you (The Gnarled Key) to open the first dungeon. When you enter the dungeon, go up, the go to the top-right block and push it up, opening the doors. Go right and defeat all of the Stalfos, earning a key. Go back left and then left. In this room, kill the four Stalfos to get the map. Go up, kill the blobs, and get into the cart. In the room you end up in, kill the creatures and go up the stairs in the right. Go over get the compass and hit the switch, go back, and get into the cart again. When you get off go over and get the bombs out of the chest you saw. Now go back over to where you got out. Go up the stairs and down the other stairs. Step on the switch to get a key. Now go back up the stairs and blow up the cracked wall. Go through the maze (you'll see a pattern), and go through the locked door. Here defeat the two Moblins and go left through the door. Push a block on the left and go down the stairs. Climb down the ladder, go over get the seed satchel and go back up. Go to the first room in the dungeon. Go up and left. Up again defeat the blobs and light the torches. Defeat the Moblins to get the master key. Go back to the first room in the dungeon again. Now go up and push the block, go right. Light the two torches with the ember seeds found in your seed satchel. Go up get the ring out of the chest. Avoid the Wall Masters, who takes you back to the dungeon entrance, and go through this maze. Go through the door to face Aquamentus, the dungeons boss. To kill it, simply stand above it and hack away at its horn! A few hits (8, I think) will kill it. Congrats! You beat the first dungeon… only seven more.

PART II: SNAKE'S REMAINS
Now head back towards Horon Village. Go to the eastern part of the village and burn the two trees that are blocking the way. Go past them and up to find a Subrosian named Rosa. She will go back to her village and you must follow her without being seen. Then you will end up in a spot with some bushes. Rosa will disappear and you must cut down the bush she was standing on. Now there will be a portal to go into Subrosia. Once in Subrosia, go west and south until you come to the Subrosian Dance Hall. If you dance with them for a while the leader will give you a boomerang. Now head as far east as you can go. You will see the Temple of Seasons. Go inside it and go strait to get the rod of seasons. Now go to the Tower of Winter, which is east in the temple, and hit the switch with your boomerang to go across the bridge and get your Rod of Seasons blessed with winter. Now go back out of the Temple, out of Subrosia, and stand on the tree stump you see nearby. Turn it to winter and head across the frozen water. Head east until you see another tree stump and turn it to winter again. Now go up the stairs you see and over and jump of the cliff onto a snowdrift. Walk over and jump down the chimney. Talk to the lady inside to get the shovel. Now go out the door and shovel the snow out of the way. Now head down and over to find Lv. 2, Snake's Remains. In the room you enter in, light the torches with ember seeds. Now go left and then up. You will be in a room of Ropes (snakes) kill them all and a key will drop down, collect it and head right twice. In this room, kill all of the Ropes and then push the block that is not even with all of the others to make a chest appear. Collect the compass out of the chest. Now head right and go up. Bomb the wall that the arrow is pointing to, and collect all of the rupees in that room. Now go back to the room with the arrow and Go up. Hit the Hard-hat Beetles into the holes and go left. In this room throw bombs across the pit to kill the Moblins. Now collect the power bracelet out of the chest. Now go back right and pick up the pots and open the chest to get the Dungeon Map. Now head back to the room where you got the compass and head right. Push the blue rollers out of the way and go up the stairs. You will now appear in a new room. Now go up and quickly bomb all the bricks to get around to the chest. If you take to long it goes away and you'll have to do it again. If you run out of bombs buy some from the Deku Scrub in the previous room. Anyway get the key from the chest and head back to the room with the blue rollers. From here go up and get the key from the chest and over to the right. Bomb the blocks with cracks in them to go over and up the stairs. Go through this side-scrolling sequence to appear in a new room. From here push the rollers and head over right. Push the roller in this room and go through to locked door. Here you will fight Façade. Avoid its attacks of shooting fireballs and making floor tiles disappear and drop bombs on it when it appears. When it is defeated go right. Go right again and then down through the roundabout. You will appear in a room with a bombable wall in the top right corner. Bomb it and head through the roundabout again. Now you will be in a room with a lot of moving platforms. Go across them and go up the stairs on the right. Open the chest to get the Boss Key. Drop down into the room and go to the room where you bombed the wall. DO NOT USE THE ROUNDABOUT! Bomb the creatures in here and head over. The roundabout will now take you down. Here go across the moving platforms where you can go over and face the boss, Dodongo. To beat him wait until he opens his mouth to shoot out fire and throw a bomb. He will get fat and you must pick him up and throw him on the spikes via the power bracelet. After doing this a few times he will die. If you need bombs chop down the plants in the room. Now collect the essence of nature!

PART III: POISON MOTH'S LAIR
Well do you want to get Ricky, Dimitri, or Moosh? OK if Moosh buy the Strange flute in Horon Village Shop. If Dimitri play the Subrosian Dance Game (where you got the boomerang) until you get a strange flute. If Ricky, just keep reading. From where you came out of the dungeon just head to Horon Village. Now head out of Horon Village until you come to a place with two rocks blocking the way up. Throw them out of the way with the Power Bracelet and head up a couple times until you come to a tree, which contains Scent Seeds. Get them and the head right. Then go down and enter Blaino's Gym. Here you must fight him and then when you win, you will get Ricky's Gloves. Now exit and Go up, left, down, left, up, left, left, and finally up. Talk to Ricky who is standing here. If you didn't have a flute you'll get his now. Anyway he'll let you ride on him to get to spool swamp. Now go south as far as you can on Ricky. Then go left, up, up, jump up the ledge and go up. If you had a strange flute he will now leave but if you got his flute he'll stay. Anyway head up and get some Pegasus Seeds from the tree here. Now go down, left, up, up, and right. Enter the house, which is the Floodgate Keeper's, and hit the switch you see inside. Get the floodgate key and head out the door and go down the stairs in the place the pond used to be. You will be in a cave. Use the Pegasus Seeds step on the switch and quickly run across the bridge to go left. Now push the first block up, second down, lift up the rock, push the bottom block over and the top one up and head down the stairs. Here go around all of the water, lifting up any rocks in your way, and go up the stairs. Here go up the next stairs. Now go down as far as you can and then right and unlock the rock which drains the water some. Now go left, up, and right Sokra will tell you something and then jump into the water and go down, down, and down. Now this walkthrough briefly split's into 3 sections.

Section 1: Ricky's Flute
Go left and call Ricky with your flute. Use him to jump the ledge and go around and down. Here use his Hurricane Punch on the bushes and then jump the holes. Now go down and right. Get off of Ricky and move the rock and go to Subrosia.

Section 2: Dimitri's Flute (Dancing Game Flute)
Go right and up where you will find Dimitri being attacked! Talk to the Moblin that is green. He'll make you give him 50 and then 30 rupees and then they'll leave. Talk to Dimitri and your Strange Flute will become Dimitri's Flute. Now, riding on Dimitri, go down, down, left on the lower path, left, and go up the right path and move the rock and go to Subrosia.

Section 3: Moosh's Flute (Horon Shop Flute)
Go left and up where you will find Moosh being attacked! The Pig Warriors will run away so talk to Moosh, but they'll come back! Kill them all and talk to Moosh again. Your strange flute is now Moosh's Flute. Anyway go down, right, down, down, right, left on the lower path, left, and go up the right path and move the rock and go to Subrosia.

Now the walkthrough comes back to one section. From where you are go left and down and dig all over the beach until you find the star shaped ore. When you finally find it head up a little until you find the Subrosian Market. (it looks like a giant red Subrosian.) Go in it and buy the Ribbon and anything else you want. You should buy the "giant peach" which is a heart container and the members card plus about 5 times there will be a ring. Anyway go down to the Subrosian Shores and right and down and talk to Rosa to get her to go on a date with you. (oh yeah!) Now head up to the market again and up and she'll unlock the door so you can get around. Go to the Temple of Seasons again. Go to the north-west part where she'll unlock a door for you. Now get Summer for your Rod of Seasons! Now exit the temple and go back to the overworld. (I recommend using the warp that you came there in) and head to Spool Swamp. Go to the place where you see a moth on the wall make it summer and enter the dungeon. When you enter go up. Here hit the beetles with your shield and kill them and then head up, right, right, and right. Here kill all the wallmasters without letting them touch you. Go and push the pot at the bottom of the room onto the switch and head down, left, and down. Move the rollers with the power bracelet and get the key and go back up, right, and up the stairs. In this room move the far-right block up. Go up and kill the Moldorms. Use the bombs you get to bomb the top wall and head up. Get the map and then head down twice. Move the blocks so you can go left and then go left. Here move the statues to look like the ones above you and the head left, left, left, and up. Drop down the hole, get the rupees and head up the stairs, unlock the door, and head up. Kill the freaks here and get Roc's Feather from the chest that appears. This can be tricky. No go down and jump onto the platform and go down the hole on the left side. Here go down the stairs. Jump across all of the platforms until you come to a ladder, go up it. Here jump on the trampoline and get the compass from the chest. Drop down the hole and push the trampoline over the darker square and jump back to the other side of the room where you must go right. Move the rollers without hitting the spikes and head right. Now go down the stairs. Move the trampoline to the dark square on the right. Jump on it get the key and head back down. Now go down the stairs. Jump across these platforms and climb up the ladder. Jump across using the platform. Now head right, down, and then left. Jump on the button in this room get the Gasha Seed out of the chest that's up the steps, and then head through the locked door. Here you fight the Squiddies. (don't they have a cool name?) To beat them, wait until one of the pop's out of the water and throw it out with the power bracelet. When its on lane repeatedly slash at it with your sword. Keep doing this till they're all dead. It will take about 10 hits each. When their dead go up the stairs and go left, left, and jump the gap, and then drop down into the big hole. Here run counterclockwise so you don't get hit. Push the forth block on the right into the hole and jump across it to get the boss key. Now go right, down, go into the warp, go up the stairs, go left until you come to another ledge to jump over then go right when your over, and finally go up through the boss's door. Here you fight Mothula. He's pretty fun to fight to me. Jump across the hole in the middle of the room when he shoots fireballs at you and then when he lands slice at him with your sword as many times as you can. Keep doing this and he'll soon be dead. 3rd Level done!

PART VIII: SWORD AND SHIELD DUNGEON
Once you are in the Dungeon, Go up, right, and hit the statue with no eye with your slingshot to get a Small Key. Now go left, up, and up. Kill all the Magnet Dudes and go up. Here kill all the Gel dudes and bomb the blocks to get the magnet ball and kill the beetle with it to get a key. Now head right twice. Unlock the block and go down the stairs. Kill the rope and head down. Watch out for the rollers and floormasters and go down the stairs. Now jump across the pits to the other side and go up the ladder. Now avoid the lava and the roller and go down. Stand on the button in the top right and the exit through the door. In the next room, go up the stairs. Now go to the chest but this can piss you off if you get touched. Anyway exit and the use a key on the door and head to the right. Go into the roundabout and then go up the stair then go left and drop down here and go into the roundabout again but you'll go down this time. Don't kill anything until the knight Dealy wakes up, then exit up the stairs. In this room, go right and get the map, then push the magnetic ball over onto the button to make the bridge retract. Now go back down the stairs. Now head right, and go up the stairs, then go left. In this room kill the knight dudes with the boomerang after you touch them. Move the bottom block left now and get the Hyper Slingshot. Oh Yah!!! It shoots 3 seeds only using one. Now go right jump to the bridge and then go down the stairs. Now go up, over the lava, left, into the roundabout and right, and finally open the chest for a small key. Then head left, go into the roundabout, go right, down the stairs, move the pole with the magnetic gloves to the right, cross the lava, head right, and in this room use the Hyper Slingshot to hit all of the statues at the same time and go up the stairs that appear. Now bomb the blocks to get to the chest and open it for a small key. Go down the stairs and open the door on the right with the small key. Now time for the mini-boss, Frypolar. Kill it and the head up. Here light all of the torches and go up the stairs and head up. This room has a puzzle. To beat it move the bottom-most block right (this block is BI), Move the middle on (BII) down right and up, move the top one (BIII) left down right and up, move BI right, move BII right, and head down the stairs and head left and jump across the crap and go up the ladder. Step on this button and go right and pass the spikes and crap to the next room. Hit the switch with your boomerang to go across a bridge and then head down. Kill all the crap and head down. Get the boss key from the chest and go down, off the ledge, left, left, bomb the right wall and go through it. Head do exactly what the knights do and get a key. Now leave, pick up a crystal, go down, throw the crystal into the hole, go up, pick up another crystal and get in the mine cart. When you get out, put the crystal down and unlock the block and then throw it into another hole. Get back in the cart get another crystal get back in the cart, hit the switch and get throw the crystal into the next hole on your right. Now get back in the cart and hit the switch so you can get back to the room with the crystals. Now go down and down the stairs. Get a small key and go up and up the stairs on the right. Now go right, right, and down. Get another key and go back to the room that used to be lava, From there go down, left, get the bombs from the chest, and go up the stairs. Get in the mine cart (your probably sick of these) now head down the stairs. Go right, down, up the stairs, up, get a crystal, and get back in the cart. Open the locked door and head down. Get into another mine cart. Finally throw the crystal into the last hole. Head down the stairs, and up, up, through the locked block and right. Head up and fight Medelock. Boss strategy is coming soon. You've now beaten the last "dungeon." Off to Onox's Castle!

PART IX: ONOX
From the exit of Lv. Eight go to the Holodrum get the seed from the Maku Tree, and go to where the temple remains is except don't jump all of the holes go up to where normally you were repelled by darkness. Here you'll get to Onox's Castle. The rest is coming.
